Go the Estonian way and discover Tallinn Christmas Market. First find your Christmas tree and set traditional Estonian wool decorations around it! Tallinn is a fairy tale city surrounded by its old medieval walls! Two towns make up Tallinn, the upper town and the lower towns sparking for centuries fierce rivalries between Nobles and Hanseatic merchants. Standing in upper town the tallest tower is the Great Hermann where proudly flies the three colors of the Estonian flag: blue, white and black. Going down to the lower towns, you will follow Pikk Jalg or Long Leg Street which will lead you to the Great Hermann’ fiancée, the impressive tower called the Fat Margarita. Ultimately, after a walk in the snake-like city street, time for market degustation will come up. The market place is set up in the beautiful Town Hall Square since 1441. More than 500.000 people visit the market every day so be sure to be one of them!
