Poland is the world of Chopin, the virtuoso romantic pianist renown as a leading musician of his era. You will be mesmerized how beautiful and carefully Warsaw was rebuilt after the destructions of the Second World War. The spirit of the kings of Poland will follow you along the Royal Route, the Old town and the Royal Castle. After the visit of Warsaw, you will board the train to discover Krakow, the former capital of Poland where you will stand on the beautiful Main Market Square when the clock strikes midnight and you will get fully enlightened by fireworks. You can expect the live music played by various local bands embracing the talent of Chopin. Put two more jewels on your crown and visit Poland at New Year.

Day 1
Sunday: Arrival in Warsaw
Arrival in Warsaw, optional transfer to Hotel Radisson Blu Sobieski 4* or similar, check-in, welcome meeting, optional welcome dinner at the hotel.
Day 2
Monday: Warsaw
Warsaw is essentially a post-war city with a meticulously reconstructed Old Town. The morning sightseeing tour includes the Royal Route and the Old Town with the Royal Castle, St John’s Cathedral, the Old Town Market Square and the Barbican. In the afternoon is offered an optional excursion to the Royal Lazienki Park with the Palace on the Water.
Day 3
Tuesday: Warsaw - Krakow
In the morning we go to the Warsaw railway station and board the train bound for Warsaw. Through the flat low- laying plain of Central Poland we reach Krakow in the early afternoon. Directly after arrival in Krakow we start a sightseeing tour, including Old Town with the St. Mary’s Church, the Jagiellonian University, the Cloth Halls and Wawel with the Wawel Castle and the Wawel Cathedral. At the end of the tour we check-in at Hotel Vienna House Andel’s Cracow 4* or similar. In the evening we enjoy an unforgettable New Year Gala dinner.
Day 4
Wednesday: Krakow
Morning at leisure. Late afternoon offers an optional guided Krakow Christmas Market tour. There, you can learn about nativity displays and listen to the most amazing stories about Christmas customs in Poland. Afterwards, you will be guided through the market to learn about the traditions behind the stalls and the items sold. The evening offers an optional Polish dinner at Restaurant Hawelka.
Thursday: Krakow departure
